What is Homeworthy?
Out of the frustration of trying to sell his own home, our founder struggled to juggle the stresses of preparing and listing his family’s home for sale. With his full time job, a newborn daughter, and a home in need of major repairs, it seemed like an impossible and daunting task. During this time he realized he couldn’t be the only person struggling with this very problem. Thousands of Americans all over the country struggle every year to prepare and list their home effectively without stress or months of uncertainty, repairs, showings, negotiating, fees, and waiting around. There had to be another solution, and that was how Homeworthy was born. Homeworthy is a revolutionary new way for homeowners to sell their homes faster and more conveniently than ever before. Get an offer on your home the moment you are ready, and Homeworthy will purchase any home, regardless of condition in as little as 3 days. Homeworthy takes care of all of the costs of selling a home including real estate commissions, closing and titles fees, repairs, and will even handle moving you to your next home completely free of charge. Because that’s the way selling your home is supposed to be.

Selling to Homeworthy eliminates the stress and uncertainty of selling the traditional way. Whether you are looking to downsize, are overwhelmed with maintenance or repairs, inherited a property, relocating for a job, or growing your family, Homeworthy gives you the freedom to move on to the next chapter of your life quickly and conveniently.
What’s the catch?
There is no catch. We are a direct home buyer that invests in real estate. We believe our greatest asset that drives homeowners to sell to us is that there isn’t a catch. No haggling, no uncertainty, no commissions, no repairs, or any out of pocket costs to the homeowner. We are passionate about pathing a new way for homeowners to sell their home.
How is selling my home to Homeworthy different than selling the traditional way?
Selling to Homeworthy is faster and more convenient than selling on the traditional real estate market.
How is Homeworthy different from websites like Zillow and Trulia?
Homeworthy is a direct home buyer, we are in the very neighborhoods we purchase homes in every day working to assist homeowners with selling their homes. Zillow and Trulia are both internet companies that are essentially enhanced versions of the traditional multiple listing service (MLS). These companies do not directly buy homes or work directly with homeowners to sell their homes. They simply act as a platform for homeowners and real estate agents to promote their real estate listings or help homeowners find a home.
How is Homeworthy different from other online home buying services like Opendoor?
Like Opendoor, Homeworthy is a direct home buyer. However, we are both very different companies in many different ways. Unlike Opendoor, Homeworthy does not charge a real estate commission or closing costs. Also unlike Opendoor which does not purchase distressed or heavily damaged homes, Homeworthy will buy any home, regardless of condition and at a fair price. Also, unlike Homeworthy, Opendoor does not currently offer homeowners a free move to their next home.
How is Homeworthy’s valuation different from other home valuation models?
Here at Homeworthy, we use a combination of old school and new age real world knowledge and valuation methods to determine the value of each individual home. Like the real estate market, our valuation model is constantly improving and evolving to adjust to current market conditions and provide homeowners with the most value for their home possible.
How quickly can we close and move?
3-90 days. In other words, we can close in as little or as long as you would like. If you are in a hurry, we are in a hurry. If you need time to find your next home, we can take our time with making sure you find the right home for you and your family while taking care of selling your current one.
What types of homes does Homeworthy purchase?
Homeworthy will purchase any home, regardless of condition.
In what cities does Homeworthy purchase homes?
Homeworthy currently purchases homes in the Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville metropolitan areas. If you have a home located outside of our current operating area, please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to assist you.

How long will it take for me to receive an offer?
In as little as 90 minutes.
How long is the Homeworthy Offer good for?
Every Homeworthy Offer is active for 30 days. However, you can always request a new offer from us at any time. You can do this by contacting your Customer Success Assistant directly or by simply filling out a new Homeworthy offer form online.
Can I negotiate on the Homeworthy Offer?
Think of Homeworthy as a no haggle, stress free option to selling your home. Which compared to the traditional real estate market, could lead to months of uncertainty, negotiations, buyers backing out, and stress. In a traditional home sale, the buyer will offer low and negotiate with the seller until both parties feel they both have received what they feel is fair. Homeworthy believes it is much more effective and fair to make our first offer on a home our absolute maximum that we can pay. That gives the homeowner confidence of knowing they are receiving the highest offer for their home, without the stress and uncertainty of haggling back and forth for weeks to months. If you’ve received an offer from Homeworthy and feel that you may have left out or missed additional information about your home that you would like us to consider, please let us know and we’d be happy to adjust our offer to give you the absolute most for your home.
How do you determine the Homeworthy Offer price?
We have over 30 years of experience and expertise in the markets we operate in. Unlike most websites online or property valuations models that use dehumanized algorythms of determining value, Homeworthy uses old world and new world techniques to determine the value of a property. We believe homeowners deserve an honest and fair price for their home, that’s why we never charge any fees, real estate commissions, or repair credits.
Does Homeworthy really cover all of the fees and commissions?
When you sell your home to Homeworthy, we take care of everything. You’ll never pay a fee or commission when you decide to sell your home. That includes real estate commissions, title & escrow fees, movers, consultant fees, transfer tax, “experience fees”, repair credits, roof inspection, termite inspection, and that list can go on and on. We’ve got it covered, so you don’t have to.

What happens to my home after I have sold it to Homeworthy?
In short our business model is simple. We purchase properties directly from you, the homeowner, and sell them exclusively to local real estate investors that intend to revitalize and improve the neighborhoods they operate in. Homeworthy is built on a few core principals, one of our most important core principals is to offer homeowners the fastest, most convenient, hassle free, experience possible. We do this to put at ease the months of uncertainty, stress, and waiting a homeowner could struggle with by selling their home traditionally. We will endure those same types of challenges when reselling your home, at the expense of insuring that when you decide to sell your home, you have the most convenient, stress free, experience possible. Another one of our core principals that our business is built on is to improve and strengthen communities and neighborhoods. We achieve this by exclusively selling the homes that we purchase directly to experienced and qualified real estate investors. These real estate investors will purchase the home from us, and renovate and bring the home to it’s highest and best use. They make investments to areas of the home like roofing, foundation, landscaping, painting, floors, and many more. They then will resell or rent that home directly to an end buyer or renter, providing a quality home for families and individuals to grow and flourish in. We believe this is one of the best ways to improve communities and neighborhoods today and one of the biggest reasons why we decided to found Homeworthy.
Who does Homeworthy use for title and escrow services?
It is important to us that any title or escrow provider we work with delivers the highest quality service to sellers in a manner fully compliant with all local laws and regulations. Currently, we use Southeast Title, which facilitates the vast majority of Homeworthy transactions, but this may vary on a case by case basis or which states we are currently operating in.
How does my mortgage get paid off?
Once we have received the signed contract, we open an escrow account with Southeast Title. On the closing date you have selected, the title agent will send the payoff amount to your mortgage lender, and the remaining funds will be wired directly too your bank account.

Do I have to be there when the movers arrive?
